Programme Design

Women in IT is a day long conference for grade 9 girls in the Kamloops area. It is aimed at showing these girls the value of a education based in technology for women.

The challange of this design was to present all the information, but in a way that was appealing to young women. The Women in IT team wanted this programme to reflect the conference as fun, not like another class. We accomplished this by treating the programme like a magazine for young women. Through the use of illustrations, lots of colour, easy to ready typography with smaller bits of reading built in.
